Endorsed by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops are designed for qualified professionals already working as clinicians, teachers or in management, who wish to further their knowledge and understanding of psychological and psychoanalytic ideas.
Dr Fiona Starr and Dr Karen Ciclitira have designed and taught courses together in the university sector and have run successful private CPD workshops for teachers, mental health practitioners and psychologists.
Drawing on their extensive experience, Karen and Fiona have designed and run a one-day workshop at regular intervals since 2012 for counsellors, psychologists, therapists and trainees. This is held at the British Psychological Society London office at a cost of £140 per person, and addresses how to develop a successful private clinical practice.
This workshop is endorsed by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and addresses various aspects of setting up a clinical business, including dealing with finances, marketing, risks, and complex cases.
